The road system of Arcadia is completely unique to the country. It is very extensive, in length nearly a billion miles. They are staggered over all the levels, with ramps and highways through out. It is possible, over a single day, to visit all the layers in a certain area.
The roads are convoluted, and even stop suddenly in some places. The City Builders, who made these roads, often run out of materials in projects. When they return, sometimes they forget what their project was and move on to do something else. While Arcadia is doing their best to patch up those oversights, or at least put up signs, accidents still happen.
Because of the vast distances involved, there are several cultures that have arisen there, the Greasers and the Punks. It also helps the slightly nomadic tendencies of the Arcadians, by allowing an infrastructure that is easy to move about in.
